Lean Auditing Services is an independent auditing service provider to heavy vehicle Operators who are seeking entry or have accreditation in the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS).
Only an individual can be registered as an NHVAS Approved Auditor on behalf of the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR).  Craig Lean, the founder of Lean Auditing Services, is certified as an Approved Auditor who is authorised to undertake Entry and Compliance Audits in Mass, Maintenance, and Fatigue Management accreditation modules.
In addition to undertaking NHVAS Compliance Audits, Lean Auditing Services specialises in performing Risk Assessment Audits whereby our objectives are to:
- Provide advice on how to manage and control identified risk areas within your management system/s;
- Isolate management system weaknesses;
- Problematic areas are highlighted to enable suitable rectification and corrective actions;
- Identify improvement opportunities;
- Consolidate and simplify Quality and Safety reporting functionalities, e.g. track and monitor non-conformances, corrective actions, risk and hazard Assessments, near-miss, incident and accident investigations, and Employee Training register.
A Risk Assessment Audit mimics a Compliance Audit; however, the main difference is that the Risk Assessment Audit findings are not forwarded to a third-party and remain private and confidential. This strategy enables you sufficient time to implement refinements ensuring your management system/s are more robust prior to your next scheduled Compliance Audit.
